Chinatown Business Association

Bask Communications serviced Chinatown Business Association (CBA) on a 1-year PR retainer across 2023 - 2024. We supported CBA’s efforts to bring vibrancy and showcase the heritage of Chinatown Singapore.

Working on the key message of Bridging the Past to Present, the agency successfully embarked on a campaign to showcase multigenerational businesses in Chinatown Singapore, as a precursor to the association’s flagship Five Footway Festival. The agency also developed and produced the official marketing video for the festival.

Leveraging on the multigenerational pitch, the agency secured 224 pieces of coverage close to $2.7 million in PR value, with a combined audience reach of over 989 million. This includes 30 pieces of international coverage from target markets Australia and Thailand.

BZU BZU

Derived from the French word Bisou, BZU BZU is a homegrown family care brand founded in Singapore in 2019. The brand engaged Bask Communications to amplify its influencer marketing plan, while supported by traditional and digital PR and media engagement.

Through the engagement period, we successfully helped BZU BZU gain a 10% increase in social media following through our monthly influencer seeding, branded collaborations, and long-term PR partnerships. More importantly, we cultivated a community of brand advocates who regularly share about why they love BZU BZU for their families and babies.

Dorsett Changi City Singapore

Following the successful acquisition of the Capri by Fraser, Changi City, Dorsett Changi City Singapore embarked on a brand relaunch with Bask Communications. We supported the property with a soft PR push, focusing on its brand new Foodie Tour, alongside media and influencer stays.

SPARK Fest

As the first sexual wellness festival in Singapore and the host of Asia’s 1st sextech hackathon, SPARK Fest put together a strong, diverse and curated group of industry thought leaders and speakers to shape the face of sexual wellness in Asia. 

In the face of a conservative media landscape, albeit one peppered with much curiosity, it was important for us to develop strong, holistic angles that would accurately reflect the festival’s messaging and key programming. We also facilitated media partnerships and speaking opportunities for the organiser.

PetExpo

Bask Communications was the appointed agency for PetExpo for three consecutive years, from 2017 to 2019. Each year, we focused on working on different creative ideas, ranging from features on pet influencers to a pet fashion show to raise awareness on the animal welfare groups supported by the festival, but also attract customers down to shop at PetExpo.

PetExpo was featured in quality, in-depth interviews and feature stories across broadcast, digital and print media in Singapore

Forest Adventure

Bask Communications was engaged to support Forest Adventure for the relaunch of Singapore’s first and only treetop obstacle course following a six-month overhaul to expand the facilities.

Our strategy was to invite members of the media to experience the trails for themselves and share their first-hand experiences with their readers and followers. We also partnered with youth influencers to attract a younger audience.

We secured quality video features on Mothership, The Smart Local, and CNA Lifestyle along. U-Weekly also did a cover shoot with Singaporean actor Cavin Soh and his family at Forest Adventure.
